Going home today
Everything is still great and we get to go home today. Myriam is still doing awesome and I am trying to help as much as I can. Last night we had our first glimpse of whats to come as we were up off and on all night working with the little guy to keep as happy as possible. Most of it is feeding so I try and do all the clean up, prep and calming before and after so Myriam can rest as much as as possible. So far we are catching on pretty quick and trying to use the advice we have gotten mixed with the classes we took and out own intuition. Its crazy how the time runs together, minutes into hours into days.

You know before long my little princess will need a knight in shining armour. Congrats to the both of you, you all look great. Intuition will take over. Take care of Mimi, Dan. Looks like you are doing a great job. I’m happy that you both have the time to spend with him. He’s adorable. And all that hair, where’d it come from, wow!
Tell Mimi hello and to call me when she has a spare moment. I know that may be a few months from now but just like to she how’s she’s doing. Thanks for posting and sending photos.

Congratulations! Have been reading your blog over the past year. My son was born on December 19th twelve years ago! He has brought us more joy than we could have ever imagined. May you be blessed beyond belief with his presence in your lives.

Congrats Dan! There is really nothing like the first few week with a new baby. At any point during the 24hrs in the day the chances that it is a bad time to call are the same; a revolving schedule of sleeping and waking…telling the time by the hours, regardless of the AM/PM component; as likely to make a sandwich at 3AM as 3PM as 9PM as 9AM.
It is a crazy, whirlwind of a time, and only the first glimpse in to the many wonders you both will experience with Samuel from here on.
