The world I know

There are much bigger issues in the world I know

But I first have to take care of the world I know

I am sitting at the tulsa airport waiting for the hotel shuttle that was

“stuck behind a train.” I had decided that there was no reason to

complain or get bummed becuase my life is so good. Now I don’t even mean

that by relative standards, I really think I have it better than most

people as a whole. I get paid to do something I love, I have an amazing

wife, my family is great and I have a handful of really good friends. I

really think being a bike racer long enough can give you a really

distorted view of what is “bad” and miss some of what is good or great

in the process.

Ok, back to being a bike racing. I have to complain about waiting for

this shuttle. We complain about everything so this should be no

different. Its cold, its hot, I’m hungry, I’m full, this bikes to light,

this bikes to heavy, the team waste money, the rider don’t get paid

enough, that guys overpaid.

Shuttle is here…
