We have had some pretty amazing weather in Colorado so far this winter. Most days have hit at least 50 with some days getting into 70’s. Its been great but the law of averages is about to come into play later this week. The forecast is calling for a severe cold front bringing temperatures down to the 20’s for highs later this week.

These pictures are in Golden Gate Canyon State Park and on Peak to Peak Highway. In the second two photos you can see clouds dropping all the way down to the peaks of the Divide. I was happy to get up there today with the sun shining and am hoping for one more decent day so I can go up again tomorrow. After that the rest of the week will be down on the front range in bundle up mode and in the gym.

I have had few interesting conversations about helmets lately. It seems a friend of mine can’t wear his helmet when its 40 degrees because he can’t fit a hat under it. This is a guy that rides a with Dura Ace SRM, carbon wheels and owns a bike shop…… Get a bigger helmet that you can wear your hat under you can obviously afford it and its sitting there on the shelf. You may think its cool to just wear a beanie but I’m sure your wife and child would prefer a less cool you than one that is paralyzed in bed, colostomy bags aren’t fun…. So many things are our of our control and none of us plan to crash but you can get clipped by a guy driving too close to the should while talking on his cell phone, a hill billy that thinks its funny to buzz you, some sand or ice on the road, etc… Its easy, get into the habit and wear your helmets becuase your family, friends, and teammates will thank you for it. That is if they care if your around or not.

It didn’t sell on ebay. I am a little bummed at myself becuase I put such little effort into the auction. I will probably relist it next week with more pictures and details but if anyone wants it before then I will sell it direct.

I forgot to mention the meaning behind this post. Actually I didn’t really forgot I just didn’t think it was needed but after a fews emails I decided to add some info. I picture one we have a still shot of Team America World Police, the second shot is my old Z50, the third would be old glory waving proudly near Pinecliffe Colorado.
